February 21, 2024

Picture this: you, basking in the sun on your patio with a perfectly crafted margarita in hand. Sounds dreamy, right? But let's not stop at just "perfect." Once you've nailed down the classic recipe (you know, the 3 parts tequila, 2 parts Triple Sec, 1 part lime juice), it's time to turn up the heat and unleash your creativity! Ready to dive into a world of tantalizing margarita variations? Buckle up because we're about to embark on a flavorful journey to celebrate National Margarita Day in style.

Pro Tip: When you’re adding flavour, start slowly and build your way up. It’s always easier to add more frozen strawberries or mango juice than it is to take those ingredients out.

Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita

A unique take with the sweet citrus and a touch of spice with the jalapeño. Find the original recipe here

  • ½ tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 Jalapeño Slice
  • 1 oz Tequila
  • 1 ½ oz Pineapple Juice
  • ½ oz Orange Liqueur
  • 1 tbsp Kosher Salt and ½ tsp Chili Powder, for rim

Make the rim by combining salt and chilli powder. Rim glasses with lime juice, followed by the salt mixture.

Muddle the jalapeño slice with lime juice in a shaker. If you don’t happen to have a muddler, use the handle of a wooden spoon. Place 1½ cups ice in the shaker, and add tequila, pineapple juice, and triple sec. Shake, and pour into rimmed glasses. Garnish glasses with pineapple wedges and jalapeño slices.
