5-Minute Cocktails To Make Your May Long Weekend Chill

Break out the Solo cups and mason jars...it’s time for a weekend of fun, friends, and (hopefully) some sunshine! If you’re looking to level up your drink game you’re in the right place. These easy, 5-minute-or-less cocktails are perfect for keeping your crew refreshed, relaxed, and ready to soak up every minute of the long weekend.


Spiked Iced Tea


Ingredients:

  • Bourbon or Dark Rum
  • Iced Tea (sweetened or non sweetened)
  • lemon slices 

Directions:

Combine Bourbon and Iced Tea in a glass. Garnish with lemon slices.

Backyard Mojito


Ingredients:

  • A handful of fresh mint leaves (about 10)
  • 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or 1 oz simple syrup)
  • 2 oz white rum
  • Club soda
  • Ice

Directions:

Muddle:
In a glass, toss in the mint, lime wedges, and sugar. Muddle it for 20–30 seconds to release flavor. Add the rum and a handful of ice. Stir well. Fill the rest of the glass with club soda.

Berry Breeze


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen — strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 1 oz lemon juice (or use half a lemon)
  • 1 oz simple syrup (or 1 tbsp sugar + splash of water)
  • 2 oz vodka (or white rum if you prefer)
  • Club soda or lemon-lime soda (for topping)
  • Ice

Directions:

Combine Vodka, Lemonade and frozen mixed berries. Top with Club Soda.

No-Blender Pina Colada


Ingredients:

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz coconut cream or coconut milk
  • 1 oz pineapple juice (or up to 2 oz for a fruitier version)
  • Ice (crushed or cubes)
  • Pineapple slice or cherry (optional garnish)

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker, add rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, and a handful of ice. Shake for about 15–20 seconds until the shaker feels cold and the drink is frothy. Strain into a chilled glass over fresh ice — or just pour everything (including ice) into a glass for a more rustic vibe. Add a pineapple wedge or cherry on top if you like.

Mango Chili Margarita 


Ingredients:

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz mango juice 
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge and Tajin for rimming the glass

Directions:

Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Dip the rim into Tajín seasoning to coat it. Combine tequila, lime juice, mango juice. Add ice and stir. Garnish with a lime wedge (optional).

Michelada


Ingredients:

  • 1 Corona
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 2-3 dashes of Hot Sauce
  • 1-2 dashes of Worcestshire sauce
  • Salt Rim (optional)

Directions:

Salt rim then add all ingredients to the glass. Stir and serve.

Limoncello Tonic


Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Limoncello
  • 3-4oz Tonic Water
  • Lemon Slice

Directions: 

Pour Limoncello over ice, top with tonic, stir and garnish with a lemon slice.

Tequila Paloma


Ingredients:

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 4 oz Co-op Gold Grapefruit Juice
  • Lime Wedge 
  • Salt Rim (optional)

Directions:

Salt rim and fill glass with ice. Pour tequila over top, top with soda and squeeze lime.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Gin
  • 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
  • Top with Sparkling Wine

Directions:

Combine gin and lemon juice, top with sparkling wine. Stir gently and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Mezcal
  • 1/2 oz Lime Juice
  • 4 oz Ginger Beer 
  • Lime wheel or Jalapeno slice (optional)

Directions:

Pour Mezcal and Ginger Beer over ice and stir. Garnish with lime wheel or jalapeno slice.
