(June 14, 2023)— It is our pleasure to announce our much-anticipated patronage reimbursement for the year 2023. The announcement was first made Annual General Meeting held tonight, where we shared the results of the 2022 fiscal year. In a show of gratitude and appreciation for our members, we will be distributing reimbursement amounting to over $6,200,000 in cash and equity.

Not only this, but our members will also be receiving their cheques early this year! We will be mailing them in July with the amount proportionate to each member’s purchases during the 2022 fiscal year. This equates to…

Food, Liquor, Propane and Hospitality: 3%
Consumer Fuel: 6¢ per litre
Dyed Fuel, Oil, and Grease: 2%
General Merchandise and Pharmacy Prescriptions: 1%

We are excited to give back to our valued members through this reimbursement, which will both provide them with additional funds to spend as they please and help stimulate the local economy where we live, work and play."

Also at the AGM, Nicholson spoke of the community impact in 2022 of over $419,000 in sponsorships and donations to more than 125 local organizations and non-profits. As well, Charlie Fox, Shannon Todd Booth and Carlo Bonetti were confirmed to be re-elected to the Otter Co-op Board of Directors for another three-year term by acclimation. Lastly, in partnership with Federated Co-operatives Limited, Otter Co-op will be granting $50,000 to Julia's Junction as part of the Community Spaces Program.
